(This is a few days late because I have been sick this weekend!)
Benjamin! Wow, little mister! You really have grown a lot this past month! I mean that physically as well as mentally! You are getting to be a big boy and you are finally getting out of your 12 months clothes and more into your 18 months clothes full-time. You certainly do not take after your daddy with his height it seems. You’re a short little guy, but you are filled to the brim with energy and the sweetest personality!
You are constantly exploring. You love to look at everything and touch everything and this of course means that you know how to make a mess, but that’s okay! We are glad to allow you to explore as long as you help clean up the messes you make, and usually you are more than happy to do so! You’re a big helper and you like to please mommy and daddy.
You are picking up new words daily! You are pretty good at explaining what’s wrong with you when you cry and really great at letting us know what you want, especially if it’s food that you’re wanting! Your current favorite snacks are yogurt, Apple Jacks, crackers, and … ice cream. Your absolute favorite is yogurt and you have at LEAST one thing of Dora yogurt every day. You are so good at feeding yourself now, too. You barely need any help at all. It’s nice to be able to eat with you and not have to stop to feed you as well!
You are also learning how to count now and you can count to ten and can even sometimes recognize the numbers. You can recognize a lot of the alphabet as well but you don’t quite know how to say them in order yet. That’s okay, we’ll get there! One of your favorite things to do is to draw and color so you really know your colors very well. You love doing crafts and making pictures for everyone. You really love stickers as well! It is a great way to keep you busy!!
Some of your favorite activities also include going on walks (especially if you’re allowed to walk instead of riding in your stroller), playing with Papaw, watching Trains, playing outside, playing “Night night” on mommy’s bed, helping Nana feed Bailey snacks, singing and dancing and playing the air drums. You also love to take Bubble Baths now!
You are such a smart boy, Benjamin, and we are very proud of how much you learn every day and all of your good manners. You are a sweetheart and everyone who knows you loves you! Your mommy and daddy love you most of all and we are excited to see how much you learn and grow this coming month!
