So today we finally got out and went to the peach farm down the road. And I gotta tell you, living in peach country is niiiiice. The farm had a packaging place right there with a shop which sold peaches, jarred goods, and best of all... homemade peach ice cream. That was definitely the highlight of my day. It was the best peach ice cream I had ever tasted. The fact that it is stinkin hot out today just added to it, I think. Ben had a small taste of ice cream, but I am definitely not going to allow him to have sweet stuff very often until he is older. I don't want to have a sweet-obsessed, overweight child because I allowed him sweets from infant up. He'll be one of those kids on Maury where the mother will say, "He just wanted the whole pizza, what was I supposed to do?"
I digress.
I didn't have my camera with me. The pictures following are from my phone. I can't wait to enjoy one of the genuine Georgia peaches!!

By the way, the Georgia Peach Festival is this Saturday here in Fort Valley, with the
World's Largest Peach Cobbler. I am SO there.
that ice cream looks delicious!
